SEAI Better Energy Homes Grants:
SEAI have a wide range of grants including insulation, heat pump, heating controls, solar thermal & electrical that will help you upgrade your home, making it warmer and more energy efficient, with energy saving measures that range from €400 to €6,000 per measure depending on the type of property and measures installed which typically cover about 30-40% of the cost. Insulation Grants:
A home can lose over 30% of its heat through poorly insulated walls. Grants include €400 for cavity wall insulation, €1,600 to €2,400 for internal insulation and €2,750 to €6,000 for external wall insulation, along with €400 attic insulation grants.
Heat Pump Grants:
An all electric alternative to fossil fuel heating systems, transforming home comfort levels, offering lower costs and reduced carbon emissions. Grants include €600 for air to air and €3,500 for all other types of heat pumps, A1 Energy Consultants are registered as technical advisors by SEAI to carry out the required technical assessment report on your property.
Heating Control Grant:
Reduce your energy usage by up to 20% and save costs with home heating controls, grant of €700 available.
Solar Water Heating Grant:
Solar thermal systems are designed to meet 50-60% of your overall hot water requirements over the year, thereby saving you money on your annual hot water heating bills, grant of €1,200 available.
Solar Electricity Grant:
Homeowners can avail of a €3,000 grant to support the installation of solar panels for electricity generation and battery energy storage system.
